TORONTO - Edwin Encarnacion (left wrist sprain) was not in the Blue Jays starting lineup Thursday, marking the fourth game in a row that he has missed.

However, he could get back into the lineup as early as Friday.

"It's feeling a lot better," Encarnacion said Thursday. "We're going to wait until (Friday) and see how it feels after I take BP. If it feels right, then I'll be playing."
