TORONTO - There were more smiles than frowns in the Blue Jays clubhouse following their 12-6 beat down at the hands of the Halos.
It doesn’t mean the Jays don’t care, just the opposite.
At this point of the season that’s the way it should be in games where one youngster — Anthony Gose — and one mentally fragile pitcher — Ricky Romero — came out of the loss with something to grin about.
As for starter Mark Buehrle, the rest of his evening should perhaps consists of getting a good grip on a 26er of Jack Daniels to drown his sorrows, wash away the memories.
As positive as Gose and Romero felt, Buehrle was already attempting to forget the pounding he took over four-plus innings when he allowed eight runs on 12 hits.
