TORONTO - The Blue Jays will help bring baseball to Montreal next season with a pair of pre-season games against the New York Mets next spring.

The games will be played in March at the Olympic Stadium which has not staged a big-league game, or a ball game of any kind since Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004, when the Florida Marlins beat the Expos 9-1 before 31,395 fans.

A formal announcement will be made at a 1 p.m. press conference Tuesday afternoon at Olympic Stadium.
