MINNEAPOLIS - In the end it will all come down to starting pitching when next season begins.

And in the beginning of a three-game series the starting pitching was fine.

Of course, it was the Minnesota Twins one of 11 clubs with fewer wins than the Toronto Blue Jays.

R.A. Dickey pitched well enough to win his 12th game, allowing three runs in 6 1/3 innings and the Jays held on to edge the Twins 6-5 Friday night before 27,044 fans at Target Field.
