Everyone loves Munenori Kawasaki.

The Blue Jays yuk it up at his pre-game, in-game, post-game and charter-flight antics and his popularity has surpassed even John McDonald’s.

Kawasaki was demoted to triple-A Buffalo when Jose Reyes was activated earlier this week, but now he is back.

But who really knows him?

Seattle Mariners interpreter Antony Suzuki, who worked with outfielder Ichiro Suzuki, relievers Makoto Suzuki, Kazuhiro Sasaki and Shigetoshi Hasegawa, plus catcher Kenji Johjima, right-hander Hisashi Iwakuma, knows him well.

The interpreter first met Kawaski in 2009 when both were with Team Japan at the World Baseball Classic and last season with the Mariners.
