There’s nothing quite so humbling for the Blue Jays as a trip to Tropicana Field.

Even coming off an 11-game winning streak, the Jays didn’t put a dent in their history of futility against the Tampa Rays on their own home turf. After churning out win after win over the last two weeks, the Jays have come up empty once again.

Tuesday’s 5-1 Tampa win assures the Rays of yet another series victory at home over Toronto, no matter what happens in Wednesday’s afternoon series finale.
