TORONTO - Jose Bautista went deep; Colby Rasmus took the elfin way.

The long and short of it added up to a 4-3 Toronto win Thursday in 10 innings against Tampa Rays.

Bautista had an adventurous afternoon. There were two homers to pass Lloyd Moseby on the Jays career list. He had a hand in every Toronto run, including driving home the winner with a two-out single to right on an 0-2 pitch.

"Anytime the game is on the line you want to be at the plate. I get a bit more excited for those. It was a huge moment," said Bautista, who was mobbed by teammates dancing across the infield, after he punched an outside pitch from Kyle Farnsworth through the infield. "I'm just glad I was able to get the ball through that hole and drive in the winning run.

"I just wanted to put the ball in play. They'd been throwing me (inside) most of the game. I figured since I'd been successful they'd try to stay away. The two previous pitches were outside. I knew I had that hole over there. It was perfect placement."
