The month of May is not a time to be talking about must-win series.

But for the Blue Jays, the three-game weekend set in the Bronx is the next-closest thing.

This was supposed to be the season that the Yankees came back to the pack, and the season that the Blue Jays were supposed to surpass them for the AL East crown.

But if the Yankees are the team to beat, the Jays so far have been unable to do that — dropping six of seven to New York.
