With shortstop Jose Reyes expected to be out for another two months at minimum because of a left ankle sprain, Blue Jays manager John Gibbons has decided to stick with Brett Lawrie in the leadoff spot.

Hitting leadoff is something to which Lawrie is accustomed. He had 252 at-bats (61 games) hitting in the No. 1 hole last season.
