With Brett Lawrie getting his feet under him at third base after missing the first two weeks of the season, and Jose Bautista back in right field after back and ankle injuries, manager John Gibbons hopes that things will start to settle down defensively for the Blue Jays.

The Jays had committed 11 errors and had several more crucial mental errors in 19 games going into play Monday. Shoddy fielding has been a big contributor to Toronto's 8-11 start.
