Blue Jays starting pitcher R.A. Dickey is optimistic that there will be no residual effects of the lower back discomfort that forced him to leave his last assignment when he throws Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles.

Dickey gave up zero runs on two hits and a walk over six innings against the Chicago White Sox last Thursday, but had to give in to the muscular pain.
