If not for falling into a September sinkhole, it could’ve been the White Sox in the playoffs last season instead of the Tigers.

It’s a hole they haven’t yet crawled out of, either.

There was a very pedestrian Cactus League result this spring.

That’s been followed by an April road to ruin, something they can ill afford if they hope to keep pace with Detroit, as well as improved lineups in Cleveland and Kansas City.
