Alex Anthopoulos said before the game that things can turn around in a hurry and he was spot on.

The Blue Jays general manager didn’t have his crystal ball set up for Wednesday’s rain-delayed game but it seemed like it.

Thanks to some timely hitting by the Jays — it could be a first for the season — and a terrible relief outing by Tigers right-hander Brayan Villarreal — the Jays managed to pull out a win against the reigning American League champs.
