TORONTO - Well, just look at you, Blue Jay fan. All swagger and bombast, getting ready to kick a little American League derriere.

But let’s hold on a minute and take stock. The Blue Jays added R.A. Dickey, Josh Johnson, Mark Buehrle, Jose Reyes, Melky Cabrera, Emilio Bonifacio, Mark DeRosa, Jeremy Jeffress, Henry Blanco and Maicer Izturis.

They gave up ... well, pretty much nobody of real immediate consequence. You might say Yunel Escobar but, really? We won’t waste anybody’s time talking about the relative merits of Escobar and Reyes. They even ended up getting the electric arm of Esmil Rogers as the residue of the John Farrell experiment.
