Injury playing mind games with Jays' Janssen

Taking life at a leisurely pace is not Casey Janssen’s preference. He hates it. But, for now, it’s the best route to get himself back in a groove as the Blue Jays closer.

“Yeah, I love to go-go-go,” said Janssen Tuesday. “It kills me to not be in the games. I’ve always come to spring training ready to impress. This is new territory for me. But I guess it’s a benefit, just from past seasons, that I’ve had this privilege to work at my pace.”

Sometime early last week after feeling out-of-sorts physically, mentally and mechanically, Janssen hit the reset button on his springtime routine, taking a step back to more or less start the process of getting ready all over again.
