On a blustery, cold Sunday afternoon at the Bobby Mattick Training Facility, Alex Anthopoulos got his first look at the Blue Jays team he spent the last four months piecing together take the field for the first time.

Of course, there was little to be gleaned from this very preliminary workout but the gears are in motion. Pitchers faced hitters (sort of) for the first time. By Saturday, exhibition games will begin and for the next six weeks, the team will build itself toward an April 2 Opening Night game against the Cleveland Indians.
