Jays are all the way in
Anthopoulos knows price is steep for Dickey, but there's no turning back
By Ken Fidlin, QMI Agency

Alex Anthopoulos has put the Jays on the fast track for a shot at another World Series. (Stan Behal, Toronto Sun)

If you listen closely before you turn on your computer, you can actually hear the cyberscreams of anguish from Blue Jay supporters. You don’t even need an internet hookup to know that just about nobody thinks this is a good deal.

Taken at face value, the dissenters are absolutely correct. If the names we’re hearing are legit, then this is a ridiculous trade. The Blue Jays will send Travis d’Arnaud, Noah Syndergaard, John Buck and a secondary prospect to New York for R.A. Dickey, catcher Josh Thole and a secondary prospect, contingent upon the Jays and Dickey working out a contract extension by Tuesday at 2 p.m.

Is the season lost for the Toronto Blue Jays or is there still time to turn things around?
Plenty of time to get it turned around
They're quickly running out of time
It's lost. When do the Argos start?
It was over before it began
