Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista was selected Wednesday as a Silver Slugger for a second consecutive season after being a repeat winner as the major leagues home run king.
Other repeat winners included New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano and Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre.
Boston Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz won the Silver Slugger for the fifth time and the first since 2007.
Atlanta Braves catcher Brian McCann also won for the fifth time, while Milwaukee Braves outfielder won his fourth in a row.
Five players -- Beltre, Boston outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury, Colorado shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, Cincinnati second baseman Brandon Phillips and Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp -- won both the Silver Slugger and the Gold Glove.
Canadian Joey Votto -- a first baseman with Cincinnati -- won his first Gold Glove.
