By SPORTS NETWORK

The Toronto Blue Jays activated pitcher Dustin McGowan from the 60-day disabled list on Monday.

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - The Toronto Blue Jays activated pitcher Dustin McGowan from the 60-day disabled list on Monday.

The 29-year-old hasn’t pitched in the majors since July 8, 2008 as he recovered from a torn right labrum.

In 12 rehab starts between Single-A Dunedin and Double-A New Hampshire this year, he posted an 0-4 record with a 2.80 earned run average.

McGowan owns a 20-22 career record with a 4.71 ERA in 75 games — 56 starts — with the Blue Jays.

Is the season lost for the Toronto Blue Jays or is there still time to turn things around?
Plenty of time to get it turned around
They're quickly running out of time
It's lost. When do the Argos start?
It was over before it began
