NEW YORK -- Scoreboard totals were correct.
For YOUR Blue Jays: Four runs, 10 hits, one error and zero fights.
And for the New York Yankees: Five runs, nine hits, one error and zero fights.
The Yanks won it 5-4 in the bottom of the ninth with third-string catcher Francisco Cervelli the hero and earning a post-game pie-in-the-face from A.J. Burnett, before 46,046 fans at Yankee Stadium.
It was their 48th come-from-behind win, 26th last at-bat win and 14th walk-off win. The totals are most in the majors, as was last night's 94th victory.
Brett Gardner led off the ninth singling against Jason Frasor, stealing second, advancing on Derek Jeter's grounder to third and scoring when Cervelli singled through a drawn-in infield.
Hideki Matsui hit a two-run homer off Scott Downs with one out in the eighth to even the score. Two batters later Downs left with a pulled right hamstring suffered covering first.
"If it's not one thing, it's another," Downs told reports. "I don't know what I'm doing wrong."
Starter Brian Tallet departed after two innings as well with a deep bone bruise on his right foot.
"I don't always get myself in the greatest fielding position, the ball hit me on the arch," Tallet said. "I taped it up after the second, but couldn't put any weight on it. They didn't want to take any chances so they took me out."
Manager Cito Gaston used Shawn Camp (three innings), Casey Janssen (11/3), Jeremy Accardo (who stranded two in the seventh) and all put up zeros.
The Jays took a 3-2 lead in the sixth when Vernon Wells singled. He then advanced on a Lyle Overbay doubled and scored on a Rod Barajas ground ball.
A Marco Scutaro double, an Aaron Hill single and an Adam Lind scoring fly ball made it 4-2 in the seventh.
