Why Mo'Ne Davis playing in the big leagues isn't crazy talk

Young pitcher Mo'Ne Davis is not "good for a girl," as some might lazily declare.

No, she's just plain good.

Throwing a 70 mph fastball at the Little League World Series, the 13-year-old from Philadelphia caught the attention of the baseball world this week while tossing gems for the Taney Dragons.

Although she is not the first girl to compete at the LLWS (she's the 18th), Davis has garnered praise from some influential people, including big leaguers like Toronto Blue Jays hurler Marcus Stroman:

Could a MLB career be in the cards for Davis down the road?

Far too early to say for sure, but she is certainly making a good case for herself.
