Chris Davis didn't come cheaply following his 2012 breakout season. But his awesome power display in the first half of '13 is still making him one fantasy baseball's biggest bargains. (Reuters)

With every team having crossed the midway stripe of the 2013 schedule early this week, it’s time again to designate the Fantasy Fare all-Stud and all-Dud teams from the first three months. Basically, it’s all about high-round selections performing like waiver-wire scrubs and vice-versa. Please note that there are certainly several names that deserve to be on this list but aren’t. In cases where I was waffling between two or more candidates, I pretty much went with the guy who had found his way on to one of my fantasy teams because, well, it just made me feel better.

As usual, we’re not going to include rookies or those who have lost significant time through injuries. Okay, I did include Roy Halladay, who has been out since early May, but only because he sucked so badly in the first five weeks that whoever else had the misfortune of owning him may not recover all season.
