Struggling Price proving costly to Rays
By MIKE RUTSEY, QMI Agency

David Price is going so bad you’d think he’s auditioning for a spot in the Blue Jays rotation.

The ‘ace’ of the Tampa Bay Rays vaunted staff and the reigning American League Cy Young winner, Price is off to a brutal start in his 2013 season.

Price’s last start occurred Saturday night against the Colorado Rockies at Denver and he got hammered in a 9-3 loss that left his record for the year at 1-3 with a 6.25 ERA.

This is not what either Price or the Rays or their fans are used to.

Do you think MLB is taking it too far by having teams open the 2014 season in Australia?
