The real World Series could play out in the National League East, home to perhaps the two best teams in baseball.

The Nationals had a major league best 98 wins last year, then used the off-season to upgrade to scary-good.

Atlanta traded for Justin Upton to flush out a lineup filled with power and speed — which, coupled with the remodelled Blue Jays, sets up an intriguing potential replay of the 1992 World Series.

Pairing Justin with his older brother, B.J., and Jason Heyward, who won a Gold Glove in 2012, gives Atlanta an outfield that arguably could be the best anywhere.
