Phillies may have ill feeling about Doc Halladay

CLEARWARTER, FLA. - This time, it wasn’t bats, but a bug that knocked out Roy Halladay.

The Phillies righty headed for the clubhouse after only one inning of work against the Baltimore Orioles with a stomach virus on Sunday afternoon at Bright House Field.

Closer Jonathan Papelbon, also scheduled to pitch, was scratched for the same reason.

In Halladay’s 10-pitch first inning, his fastball was clocked at 86-88 mph on radar guns behind home plate.

“About the same as his last time out,” said one scout, referring to Halladay’s previous start, against the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday.

Is the season lost for the Toronto Blue Jays or is there still time to turn things around?
Plenty of time to get it turned around
They're quickly running out of time
It's lost. When do the Argos start?
It was over before it began
