MLB notes: Curtis Granderson breaks arm

New York Yankees outfielder Curtis Granderson is expected to miss at least two months after being hit by a pitch in his first Grapefrutie League at-bat on Sunday.

Granderson grabbed his forearm after being plunked by Toronto Blue Jays pitcher J.A. Happ during the first inning in Tampa, Fla.

The 31-year-old three-time all-star left the game with a fractured right forearm and will miss a much as 10 weeks, according to a statement from the Yankees.

Granderson led the Yankees with 43 homers in 2012, hitting .232 and driving in 106 runs.
