Braves activate Moylan By Sports Network

The Atlanta Braves activated pitcher Peter Moylan from the 60-day disabled list on Sunday.

Moylan has not appeared in a game since April 14 because of a back injury that required surgery in May.

The 32-year-old reliever has a 1-0 record with a 4.15 ERA through 4 1/3 innings pitched this season.

Atlanta also purchased the contract of outfielder Antoan Richardson from Double-A Mississippi.

Richardson will make his major league debut when he appears in a game.

He was hitting .284 with a .431 on-base percentage, 17 stolen bases and 64 runs scored between Mississippi and Triple-A Gwinnett this season.
