Cleveland, OH - The Cleveland Indians placed outfielder Michael Brantley on the 60-day disabled list Sunday, ending his season.

Brantley, who was sidelined by right wrist inflammation, hit .266 with seven home runs, 46 RBI and a .318 on-base percentage in 114 games this season.

The Indians promoted Jerad Head from Triple-A Columbus to make his major league debut Sunday in left field. He was batting .284 with 24 homers for the Clippers.

Pitcher Nick Hagadone, who was recalled from Columbus on Friday, was optioned back to the team.

Is the season lost for the Toronto Blue Jays or is there still time to turn things around?
Plenty of time to get it turned around
They're quickly running out of time
It's lost. When do the Argos start?
It was over before it began
