Report: 2 suspects arrested in beating of Giants fan
By Sports Network

Los Angeles police have reportedly arrested two men in connection with the March 31 beating of San Francisco Giants fan Bryan Stow.

The Los Angeles Times reported police have exonerated suspect Giovanni Ramirez, a parolee who was arrested May 22 in connection with the attack. Since his arrest, the paper reported, detectives struggled to build a case against him.

The paper said the LAPD was preparing to release an official statement on the investigation.

Gossip website TMZ.com reported the case against Ramirez, who is currently in jail on a parole violation, went to robbery homicide detectives and fell apart.

TMZ reported two Hispanic males, at least one of them in his mid-20s, were arrested early Thursday morning.

Stow was critically injured in an attack outside Dodger Stadium following the season opener. The paramedic and father of two sustained injuries to his skull and brain and was put in a medically-induced coma. He was eventually flown from Burbank to San Francisco on May 16.

The 42-year-old Stow had emergency surgery earlier this week due to a massive fluid buildup that caused a 30-second seizure.

Is the season lost for the Toronto Blue Jays or is there still time to turn things around?
Plenty of time to get it turned around
They're quickly running out of time
It's lost. When do the Argos start?
It was over before it began
