Mets' Bay leaves with hamstring issue By Sports Network

New York Mets left fielder Jason Bay exited Wednesday's game versus the St. Louis Cardinals with a tight right hamstring.

He was due to bat in the fourth inning, but was replaced by Willie Harris.

Bay grounded out in his only at-bat and entered the game hitting .233 with six homers and 29 RBI. He owns four hits in his last 37 trips to the plate.
