Ortiz, Gregg start three-game suspensions
By Sports Network

Boston Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz and Baltimore Orioles pitcher Kevin Gregg began serving three-game suspensions on Monday.

The suspensions, which stem from a benches-clearing melee during the Red Sox- Orioles game on July 8, were reduced by a game, according to MLB.com. They will also pay a reduced fine.

During the July 8 game, Ortiz hit a fly ball in the eighth inning and went after Gregg, who yelled at the DH to run the bases. The two shoved each other and both missed punches just as the dugouts and bullpens emptied. Boston won the game, 10-3.

The two will miss the entirety of this week's three-game series in Baltimore.

Is the season lost for the Toronto Blue Jays or is there still time to turn things around?
Plenty of time to get it turned around
They're quickly running out of time
It's lost. When do the Argos start?
It was over before it began
