Youkilis, Peralta named All-Stars as replacements By Sports Network

Detroit Tigers shortstop Jhonny Peralta and Boston Red Sox third baseman Kevin Youkilis have been named as injury replacements to the American League All-Star team.

Peralta will replace New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter and Youkilis has been named to replace New York's Alex Rodriguez. Jeter, on the verge of 3,000 hits, announced Friday that he will not participate due to a calf injury.
