Nationals to name Davey Johnson manager
By Sports Network

Davey Johnson will apparently become the manager of the Washington Nationals in the near future.

According to MLB.com, which cited an unnamed baseball source, Johnson will make his fifth stint at the helm of a major league team. He has managed the Mets, Reds, Orioles and Dodgers for a combined 1,148-888 record and a World Series title with the Mets in 1986.

It is still unsure when Johnson will join the club, as John McLaren was named the interim manager earlier Friday after Jim Riggleman abruptly resigned on Thursday due to contract concerns.
