The newspaper reports Grace was arrested on suspicion of having a blood- alcohol level more than the legal limit of -.08 percent, and that he was DUI- impaired to the slightest degree.

Grace spent the first 13 years of his major league career with the Cubs before signing with the Diamondbacks as a free agent before the 2001 campaign. He retired following the 2003 season.
