Boston's Papelbon punished for tirade
By Sports Network

NEW YORK -- Boston Red Sox reliever Jonathan Papelbon has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount for his inappropriate actions during Saturday's game against Oakland at Fenway Park.

Papelbon made contact with home plate umpire Tony Randazzo after he was ejected in the top of the ninth inning.

The right-hander was scheduled to begin serving his suspension on Tuesday, but he has elected to appeal.

Is the season lost for the Toronto Blue Jays or is there still time to turn things around?
Plenty of time to get it turned around
They're quickly running out of time
It's lost. When do the Argos start?
It was over before it began
