Cubs place Soriano on DL
By Sports Network

CHICAGO - The Chicago Cubs placed outfielder Alfonso Soriano on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday with a left quadriceps strain. Soriano left Monday's 12-7 home loss to Houston after injuring the quad while running out a ground ball in the first inning. He is batting .271 with a team- leading 12 home runs and 29 RBI in 49 games this season. To fill the roster spot, the Cubs recalled outfielder Tyler Colvin from Triple-A Iowa. Colvin made the team's Opening Day roster and batted .113 with three doubles, two home runs and eight RBI in 28 games this season. Colvin spent the entire 2010 season with the Cubs and batted .254 with 20 home runs and 56 RBI in 135 games. His 20 home runs were fourth-most by a rookie in Cubs franchise history.

Is the season lost for the Toronto Blue Jays or is there still time to turn things around?
Plenty of time to get it turned around
They're quickly running out of time
It's lost. When do the Argos start?
It was over before it began
