Slowey lands on DL with shoulder strain By Sports Network

Minneapolis, MN - The Minnesota Twins placed pitcher Kevin Slowey on the 15-day disabled list Saturday with a right shoulder strain.

Slowey has made three relief appearances for the Twins this season, compiling a 2.45 earned run average.

In a corresponding move, the Twins recalled pitcher Alex Burnett from Triple-A Rochester. Burnett went 2-2 with a 5.29 ERA in 41 games with Minnesota last season.
