Dunn out after emergency appendectomy
By Sports Network

KANSAS CITY -- White Sox designated hitter Adam Dunn will be sidelined for up to five days after having an emergency appendectomy Tuesday night in Kansas City, according to multiple reports.

Dunn, who signed a four-year contract with the White Sox as a free agent last winter, is hitting .286 (4-for-14) with a home run and five RBI in four games.

The 31-year-old is the second player to be felled by an appendectomy this season. St. Louis outfielder Matt Holliday underwent the procedure last week.

Is the season lost for the Toronto Blue Jays or is there still time to turn things around?
Plenty of time to get it turned around
They're quickly running out of time
It's lost. When do the Argos start?
It was over before it began
