Braves set Bobby Cox tribute for August
By Sports Network

Atlanta, GA - The Atlanta Braves will host Bobby Cox Day on August 12 when they induct the retired manager into their Hall of Fame and retire his No. 6 jersey.

Cox managed the Braves for 25 seasons in two stints, ending the reign last year when he led the club to an unlikely playoff berth. The four-time Manager of the Year also coached the Toronto Blue Jays for four seasons and has 2,504 career wins, fourth all-time among managers.

"Bobby Cox exemplifies the Braves organization," said Braves president John Schuerholz. "Inducting him into our Hall of Fame and retiring his legendary number 6 is fitting recognition for a man who has done so much for our organization, our great game, and the city of Atlanta."

Cox won 15 division titles during his career and won the World Series with Atlanta in 1995. He is currently working in the Braves' front office.

Is the season lost for the Toronto Blue Jays or is there still time to turn things around?
Plenty of time to get it turned around
They're quickly running out of time
It's lost. When do the Argos start?
It was over before it began
