Angels' Morales to start season on DL
By Sports Network

Scottsdale, AZ – Angels first baseman Kendry Morales will start the 2011 season on the 15-day disabled list, according to manager Mike Scioscia.

Morales is recovering from a fractured left leg, which he suffered on May 29 of last year after clubbing the game-winning grand slam in the 10th inning of a 5-1 victory over the Seattle Mariners. Morales circled the bases after hitting Brandon League's first offering to him over the wall in center field. Morales hurt his leg when leaping toward home plate into a throng of teammates.

In 51 games last season, Morales batted .290 with 11 homers and 39 RBI.

The Angels open their season on March 31 against Kansas City.

Is the season lost for the Toronto Blue Jays or is there still time to turn things around?
Plenty of time to get it turned around
They're quickly running out of time
It's lost. When do the Argos start?
It was over before it began
