Giants closer Wilson strains oblique
By Sports Network

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- San Francisco Giants closer Brian Wilson reportedly has a strained left oblique.

MLB.com reported that Giants manager Bruce Bochy said the strain is mild, and that Wilson said he expects to be ready for the start of the season.

Wilson has pitched in five spring training games so far, most recently on Thursday, when he tossed a scoreless inning against the Angels.

Wilson led the majors last season with 48 saves while posting a 1.81 earned- run average in 70 appearances. He then saved six games while helping the Giants to a World Series title.

Is the season lost for the Toronto Blue Jays or is there still time to turn things around?
Plenty of time to get it turned around
They're quickly running out of time
It's lost. When do the Argos start?
It was over before it began
