Cardinals co-owner Baur dies at 66
By Sports Network

St. Louis, MO - Andrew N. "Drew" Baur, who was part of the ownership group that bought the St. Louis Cardinals in 1996, died Sunday at the age of 66.

Bauer served as the team's treasurer since buying part of the team from Anheuser-Busch. The St. Louis banker was a father of three and had seven grandchildren.

"We have lost a wonderful friend and we are deeply saddened by his sudden passing," Cardinals chairman Bill DeWitt, Jr. said. "Drew loved the Cardinals and was a great partner. He will be sorely missed by all of the members of our ownership group."
