U2 bumps Marlins series to Seattle
By Sports Network

MIAMI -- The Mariners can thank U2 for three more "home" games in the 2011 season because the famed Irish rock band's previously scheduled concert at Sun Life Stadium on June 29th caused Major League Baseball to move Seattle's interleague series with the Florida Marlins to Safeco Field.

The June 24-26 three-game set will be played under National League rules, and the Marlins will serve as the home team.

Despite having two free days leading up to the concert, Florida's home ballpark is unavailable due to setup commitments.

A similar scenario occurred last season when the G20 Summit shifted the Blue Jays-Phillies interleague series from Toronto to Philadelphia.

Is the season lost for the Toronto Blue Jays or is there still time to turn things around?
Plenty of time to get it turned around
They're quickly running out of time
It's lost. When do the Argos start?
It was over before it began
