Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic - Baltimore Orioles pitcher Alfredo Simon is reportedly a suspect in the shooting death of another man in the Dominican Republic.

According to the Dominican newspaper, Al Momento, Simon is wanted by police after a 25-year-old man was killed by a gunshot wound early on New Year's Day. The deceased man's 17-year-old brother was shot in the arm.

Simon, a native of the Dominican Republic, has spent his entire three-year career with the Orioles and last season posted 17 saves with a record of 4-2 and a 4.93 earned run average in 49 games.

Is the season lost for the Toronto Blue Jays or is there still time to turn things around?
Plenty of time to get it turned around
They're quickly running out of time
It's lost. When do the Argos start?
