Marlins lose Nolasco, Hayes
By Sports Network

MIAMI - Florida Marlins right-hander Ricky Nolasco will miss the remainder of the season and will have surgery next week to repair torn medial meniscus in his right knee.

Nolasco, who is 14-9 with a 4.51 ERA this season, will be replaced by Andrew Miller when the Marlins play Atlanta on Friday.

The Marlins also announced catcher Brett Hayes has a Grade 1 separation of his left shoulder. He was hurt in a collision at home plate in the 10th inning of Tuesday's game against the Nationals. That's when Washington's Nyjer Morgan plowed into the catcher trying to score.
