Cincinnati, OH – Miguel Cairo's two-run homer in the sixth inning was all the Reds needed, as Homer Bailey and three relievers blanked the Marlins, 2-0, to complete a three-game sweep.

Bailey (2-2), in his first start since May 23, gave up just three hits with no walks and four strikeouts over six scoreless innings and showed little signs of the right shoulder inflammation that kept him out for nearly three months.

Anibal Sanchez (9-8) was the hard-luck loser, allowing two runs on five hits with a walk and seven strikeouts in a six-inning start for Florida, which had won four straight coming into the series.
