BALTIMORE -- The Baltimore Orioles have reinstated second baseman Brian Roberts from the 60-day disabled list.

He had been sidelined since Apr. 10 because of an abdominal strain suffered while stealing second base in a loss to Toronto the previous day.

Roberts, in his 10th season with the Orioles, has two hits in 14 at-bats through four big league games this season.

The 32-year-old played in three rehabilitation games earlier this week at Double-A Bowie and went 6-for-14.

To make room on the roster for Roberts, the Orioles designated infielder Scott Moore for assignment. Moore was batting .209 with 10 runs batted in over 41 games.
