Knuckle Heads

New York Yankees opening-day starter Carl Pavano has a history of being a bit of knucklehead. There was that time last summer when he broke two ribs in a car accident but didn't tell the Yankees until they were about to activate him from the disabled list. Add that to a laundry list of previous injuries that have him dubbed the "hang-nail of the Yankees." Off the field, things are just as bad. He's a ladies man, but he keeps getting dumped, by the likes of Alyssa Milano, no less. This year, his model girlfriend Gia Allemand gave him the heave-ho just before the season started and threw in some parting shots in Steppin' Out magazine. "I've given up too much for him. Carl hasn't been there at all for me. (Our relationship) was as bad as Carl's pitching!" Ouch

SAY WHAT?

"He told me to eat just two cheeseburgers a day instead of three. So I'm doing fine."
