Phillippe Aumont wasn't the only dominant pitcher on this day. Aumont put up his three scoreless innings for Team Canada, then Mitch Hodge and Evan Hildenbrandt also put up thre zeros each.

The problem was a lack of hits as the Team Canada National Junior tea, battled the Minnesota Twins to a 0-0 tie. Both Canada and the Twins rookie-class Dominican Summer League Twins team of first and second-year pros managed 10 hits.

Aumont (Gatineau, Que.) allowed two hits, while striking out six. He's now headed for pre-draft woork outs with clubs. Aumont was the apple of the Colorado Rockies eye but he now could slip into the teens. The Rockies select eighth over-all June 7.

Aumont didn't walk a man.

Hodge (Vancouver, BC) allowed two hits and withour one walk and he struck out two.

Hildenbrandt (Abbotsford, BC) threw three innings, as he allowed up only two hits with three walks and two strikeouts.

Brett Lawrie (Langley, BC) was 2-for-2 with a pair of singles. Michael Mutcheson (Morden, Man.) singled and Marcus Knecht (Toronto, Ont.) added a double.
