Day One at the nationals belonged to Quebec with a perfect 7-0 record.
Day Two was Ontario's, as representatives from the province went a perfect 10-0.
And on Day Three, the final day of round-robin competition ... except for a few left over games caused by rained at the national junior in Saskatoon, Sask.?
The day belonged to British Columbia which won nine of 13 games.
We'll give you three guesses as to which province had the next best winning percentages?
Ontario?
No.
Alberta?
No.
Quebec?
Well, OK, they were tied with ... which province?
The Martimers enjoyed the second-best day winning six of nine games as Nova Scotia had a .667 winning mark at the nationals for the peewee, bantam, midget, junior, senior and bantam girls levels.
B.C. was top top with a .692 win percentage (9-4), followed by Nova Scotia, which was deadlocked with Quebec, .667 (8-4), when host teams are figured into each province's records.
The rest of the field saw New Brunswick at 7-5, Ontario at 7-6, Alberta at 4-4, Saskatchewan at 5-6, Newfoundland at 2-5, Prince Edward Island at 1-5 and Manitoba at 1-8.

How the day went for Nova Scotia from the youngest age to the oldest ...

  • Nova Scotia beat Ontario 7-5 at the Cavendish national peewee championships in Summerside, PEI.

  • Scott Creedman pitched a complete-game, three-hitter as Nova Scotia beat Manitoba 4-0 at the bantam nationals in Windsor, Ont. Creedman walked two and fanned eight. SS Gerrad Grant had a pair of hits, while 1B Michael Roski and 3B Stephen Murphy each knocked in runs.

  • The other bantam game was one the whole province would just as soon forget. C Marco Diroma had two homers to knocked in six runs as Ontario beat Nova Scotia 22-0. Ontario loaded the bases in the first when the skies opened. After a two-hour rain delay, Diroma hit the first pitch for a grand slam. 3B Chris Romano knocked in three runs, while 3B James Kottaras had three hits and knocked in a pair of runs, while 2B Tyler Wheeler had two hits, winning pitcher Josh Robinson, 1B Adam Carpino, C Greg Densem, SS Billy Hurley and RF Alliston Wong each had two hits.
    1B Michael Roski and Steven Ardley had the base hits for Nova Scotia.

  • Alyssa Shupe pitched a complete-game, five-hit shutout as Nova Scotia beat Manitoba 7-0 at the bantam girls nationals in Fredricton, N.B. Shupe walked four and struck out eight. CF Caelyn Davidson had a hit and knocked in a run, while LF Nicole Prince and RF Melissa Lefort each drove in a run.
    RF Lindy Penner was 3-for-3 with Manitoba.

  • Nova Scotia beat Manitoba 5-2 at the midget nationals in Trois-Rivieres, Que.

  • And then Nova Scotia finished up the two-win day in La Belle Province by beating the Trois-Rivieres 4-2.

  • CF Chris Head had two hits and two RBIs for Nova Scotia, while LF Brandon Dubreuil knocked in two runs in a 6-5 Nova Scotia loss to Quebec in 10 innings at the junior nationals in Saskatoon.
    Jean-Francois Rooney pitched eight scoreless inning of relief, allowing three hits and fanned 11. C Maxime Bouchard was 4-for-6, with an RBI, while 3B Jean-Francois Roy and DH Patrick D'Aoust had three hits apiece. Guyaume Gosselin and SS Carl Moniz had two hits each.
    1B Brett O'Neill and 3B Jason Archibald had a pair of hits apiece.

  • Nova Scotia then blanked Newfoundland 7-0 to go 1-1 in Saskatoon on the day.

  • C Chris Burns had a pair of hits for Nova Scotia in a 5-1 loss to BC in Kamloops at the senior nationals. Nova Scotia is 3-1 thanks to Rob Gilles hitting a game-winning homer to beat Manitoba 13-11.

    And how day went for BC from the youngest age to the oldest ...

  • A 10-0 BC win over New Brunswick in the peewees.

  • A 12-1 win over the host Summerside team in peewee.

  • 3B James Zamko went 3-for-3 with four RBIs ad British Columbia beat Newfoundland 15-1 at the bantams. LF Al Fisher had two hits and knocked in three runs, as LF Jay Davey had a pair of hits and drove in two runs.
    Dylan Lafrentz had three hits and knocked in two for Saskatchewan, as C Lucas Frey had two hits and knocked in a pair of runs.

  • RF Jamie Brovold had a hit and knocked in three runs in a 10-7 loss to Ontario, while Sara Hilworth had three hits and drove in a run.
    Cindy Saavevra went the distance, striking out 12, and Ontario won with three runs in the seventh. SS Stacey Oue had three hits and knocked in two runs, while, C Jamie Allen had two hits and knocked in a run.

  • BC beat Manitoba 4-0 in the midgets.

  • BC beat Prince Edward Island in the juniors.

  • BC lost 8-0 to Saskatoon in the juniors.

  • 3B Shawn Murphy doubled in three runs as Kamloops edged Quebec 5-4 at the seniors in Kamloops, BC. SS Jeff Paz added two hits as Adam Kerr gained the win pitching 5 1/3 innings and striking out three.
    RF Marc-Andre Charbonneau drove in three runs with a pair of doubles.

  • LF Jody Peterson and CF Dave Barr each had a pair of hits in a 5-0 Kamloops loss to New Brunswick. Derrick Wilson spun a two-hit shutout for New Brunswick. 3B David Godfrey doubled in two runs.

  • Tim Fehr worked a complete game allowing six hits as BC beat Nova Scotia 5-1. Fehr walked one and struck out seven.
    DH Ryan Price had a pair of hits, while RF Brian Hadden doubled in three runs.

    Meanwhile, in Windsor at the bantams ...

  • Neil Sherren pitched three innings of relief, allowing three hits and one run, while striking out three as Prince Edward Island beat Saskatchewan 16-10. RF Nick Johnston had a pair of hits and three RBIs, while 2B Jordan Hughes was 3-for-4 with two RBIs. CF Tyler MacDonald and 1B Kyle Dougan each had two hits and two RBIs.

  • RF Alexandre Villeneuve had two hits and knocked in two runs as Quebec beat the Riverside Royals 8-2. 1B Alexandre Dansereau, LF Jean-Sebastien Gaulin and CF Julien Papineau each had a pair of hits.
    Robert Cooper was 3-for-3 for RIverside.

  • Sean Silliphant pitched four innings -- allowing two runs and striking out five -- as New Brunswick beat Alberta 5-3. 3B Dale Anderson had a pair of hits and knocked in a run, while C Justin Wiebe had two hits and C Chuck Schembri drove in a pair of runs.
    2B Brandon Hupman had two hits and knocked in a run.

  • SS Jordan Fieber doubled twice and drove in a run, while Dylan Lafrentz picked up the win in a 5-1 Saskatchewan win over Newfoundland. 3B Derek Wallace had a pair of hits and knocked in two runs, while 1B Matthew Walliser had two hits
    Luke Adam knocked in the only Newfoundland run and had a hit.

  • 3B Olivier Jubinville went 3-for-4 with four RBIs as Quebec beat PEI 14-3. LF Alexandre Leroux drove in three runs. CF Julien Papineau had a pair of hits and drove in a run.
    SS Neil Sherren had two hits for PEI, while losing pitcher Colin MacEwen knocked in a pair of runs.

  • SS Billy Hurley had two hits and three RBIs as Ontario beat New Brunswick 7-2. Christopher Romano allowed one hit, striking out eight. CF Andrew Ledger, 3B Adam Velocci and C Chris Rutherford each had a pair of hits.
    3B Jesse Welner hit a two-run homer in the seventh.

  • 1B Samuel Waldie was 2-for-2 and drove in three runs as BC beat the host Riverside Royals 12-1. Brandon Willier pitched six innings allowing one unearned run, while striking out three. 3B James Zamko and CF Al Fisher each had a pair of hits and an RBI.
    2B Jonathon Cattrysse had a pair of hits for Riverside.

    And in Fredricton at the bantam girls ...

  • SS Erin Dyok knocked in two runs and RF Randy Byro as Saskatchewan scored five times in the sixth for a 5-3 win over Alberta. Melissa Armstrong pitched a complete game for the win, allowing three runs and striking out six.
    LF Meagan Cornelssen went 3-for-3 for Alberta, while 2B Nicole Luchanski had two hits and drove in a pair of runs.

  • SS Cindy Saavevra knocked in four runs with a pair of hits as Ontario humbled Manitoba 16-0. Winning pitcher Stacey Oue had two hits and drove in three runs. 1B Jennifer Gilroy and C Jamie Allen each drove in two runs with a pair of hits.

  • Kiera Lyons had two hits and Carolyn Potyok gained the win as Alberta beat New Brunswick 15-4.
    SS Lauren Bird had two hits and two RBIs, while RF Olivia Trevors had two hits and an RBI and losing pitcher Amanda Harrington had two outs.

  • Cindy Northorp pitched 2 1/3 scoreless innings as Quebec scored in the bottom of the seventh for a 4-3 win over Saskatchewan.
    2B Myriam Collin had a pair of hits, while C Stephanie Savoie knocked in a run.
    C Karleen Crone, SS Erin Dyok and Taya Tokarski each had two hits for Saskatchewan.

    And in Saskatoon at the juniors ...

  • Daniel Murphy pitched a complete-game win as New Brunswick beat Saskatchewan 6-2. Murphy allowed 10 hits and struck out eight. CF Greg Hallett knocked in a pair of runs, while 1B Chris Sorenson had two hits.
    CF Cody Murdock 1B Richie Bookout, DH Brandon Legard and LF Tanner Brotzel all had two hits for Saskatchewan.

  • Derek Goett had two hits and an RBI as the DH for Alberta and then took the mound for a scoreless seventh in a 5-2 win over Ontario. 3B Brett Stowkowy had two hits and a run, while CF Steve Leishman had two hits.
    Christopher Bowler, had two hits and an RBI, as LF Jeffrey Murdoch and RF Darren Sawyers had two hits apiece.

  • Adames Pichardo pitched a three hitter, fanning six, in a 3-0 win over New Brunswick. C Patrick D'Aoust had a pair of hits and knocked in two runs.
    RF Ryan Corey had two hits for New Brunswick.

  • And on the west coast in Kamloops at the seniors, where Newfoundland enjoyed a double-win day ...

  • Karl Dehart allowed six hits and three runs in pitching Newfoundland to a 6-3 victory over Saskatchewan. He had support from RF Chad Gulliver, who hit a solo homer, 1B Andrew Symonds who drove in two runs and LF Gerald Butt, who had two hits.
    1B Matt Gunning singled in a pair of runs for Saskatchewan.

  • Bob Kent pitched a one hitter as Newfoundland scored its second win of the day, a 7-0 win over Alberta. LF Kirk Fleming had three hits and drove in a run, while 2B Brent Power had a pair of knocks and an RBI.
    DH Dave Ross had the lone hit for Alberta.

  • CF Nicholas Boisvert doubled in a pair of runs as Quebec edged Ontario 4-3 at Nordbrook Stadium. 3B Yves Ethier had a pair of hits for Quebec.
    3B Steve Palombo and 3B Bryan Dufour each had a pair of hits and an RBI for Ontario.

  • 3B Steve Palombo doubled and knocked in three runs as Ontario edged New Brunswick 6-5. SS Jason Chapieski had three hits, including a double, while C Dustin Wiley had two hits and drove in a run.
    SS Mike King doubled in three New Brunswick runs, as CF Dave Barr had a pair of hits.

  • Matt Jenkins went the distance allowing one earned run in a 6-3 New Brunswick win over Manitoba. 3B David Godfrey had three hits, while CF Dave Barr had two hits and two RBIs, as 1B Derrick Wilson had a pair of hits.
